Congratulations!  You're about to take the next steps to discovering yourself and the world!  The following steps will help guide you through the process of going abroad.  You have a lot to plan and many big decisions to make, but don't feel overwhelmed!  You can always contact an Education Abroad Advisor by phone at (785) 532-5990 or email at if you have any questions or concerns.
Attend Study Abroad 101

Here you can Learn about Our Programs offered in over eighty countries, which vary by length, coursework, housing, and many other factors, browse by major or minor to consider an education abroad program that best fits your academic plan, explore past student experiences and get a better idea of what you would like to study and where you would like to go, and the importance of working with your Academic Advisor to discuss appropriate coursework abroad.
Search Our Online Database

Now that you’ve thought about the type of experience you want to have, search our online database to find the programs that fit your interests.

1)  Click on Search for a Program, which will open StudioAbroad, our program database, in a new window.

2)  Choose the term, country, city, major, or other parameters that match your interests. To select multiple options in any drop-down menu, hold down Ctrl and click on the desired options. For example, faculty-led programs can be searched by the country, faculty leader name or by "faculty-led" in the program name box. 

3)  Click Search.

4)  Click on a program name to view its information brochure. Brochures include basic information about a program or a link to the program’s homepage.
