Program Description:

Fulbright Grants

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program is the largest U.S. exchange program offering opportunities for students and young professionals to undertake international graduate study, advanced research, university teaching, and primary and secondary school teaching worldwide. The program currently awards approximately 1,900 grants annually in all fields of study, and operates in more than 140 countries worldwide. Fulbright U.S. Student alumni populate a range of professions and include ambassadors, members of Congress, judges, heads of corporations, university presidents, journalists, artists, professors, and teachers.


Must be a U.S. student, have at least a Bachelor’s degree before the program start, proficiency in host country language (if applicable).


All Fulbright U.S. student grants include cost of round-trip transportation to host country, funding to cover room, board, and incidental costs, along with Accident & Sickness Benefits. Some countries may be eligible for extra allowances.
How to Apply:

Apply through the campus deadline due in September to Jim Hohenbary, Director of Nationally Competitive Scholarships. If you miss this deadline, you should consult with Mr. Hohenbary to evaluate your options.

Process includes a general application, statement of grant purpose, personal statement, language evaluation (if applicable), reference letters, and transcripts. For more information, visit this link:
